Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a part-time (20 hours/week) Market Research Intern to support our Business Development team. In this role, you will work closely with the Vice President of Business Development and our team to research and analyze market trends and competitors in the EV and battery industries.

Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly and monthly industry newsletters, stay up to date with news, and develop a deep understanding of the battery/cathode ecosystem
Build company profiles, conduct research and compile information from various sources into digestible formats
Perform ad-hoc research projects on entire industries, technologies, or groups within the battery and EV industries
Track the supply chain and validate news sources to make informed assessments

Qualifications:

A 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student or a graduate student pursuing studies in Business (Marketing, Economics, Entrepreneurship) or related field
Strong research and analytical skills, with a deep interest in the battery/EV industry
Self motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Are able to work in an environment where you are free to make your own decisions and start your own projects
Ability to transform research into deliverable forms
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in French being an asset
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Prior experience in market research, consulting, or related field is an asset
Able to manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines for research projects
